Breast Cancer Awareness Event at The Medical Spa at Nova
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, The Medical Spa at Nova and WD Designs, LLC will host a reception at The Medical Spa at Nova (21785 Filigree Court, Ashburn) on Wednesday, October 6, 2010 from 5 – 8 p.m., benefiting Breast Cancer Network of Strength®.
A special event for breast cancer survivors and all of those who have in some way been touched by this disease, the evening will be filled with pampering, shopping, live music, food, and more. Most importantly, it will be an evening full of love and support. All proceeds from the event, including the silent auction and raffle, will be donated to Breast Cancer Network of Strength®.
Spa treatments including various massages, body wraps and facials will be showcased throughout the evening. Unique services which are designed to particularly benefit breast cancer survivors will also be demonstrated, including Nova’s Underwater Massage in the hydrotherapy tub and Nova’s Balancer Treatment – both of which assist with lymphatic drainage. In addition, complimentary seated chair massages, eyebrow waxing, and makeup lessons will be available for attendees. Nova’s integrative medical team including the Naturopathic Physician, Licensed Acupuncturist, Personal Trainers, and Registered Dietitian will also be in attendance.
A number of local companies have come together to support this special event. Vendors selling items throughout the evening to support Network of Strength® will include Beijo Bags, Bravada Wigs, The Medical Spa at Nova, WD Designs Awareness Jewelry, and Diya Designs. Food and refreshments will be provided by Whitestone Catering, The Chocolate Chick, Chantel’s Bakery, Il Pioppo Wines, and the Loudoun Valley HomeGrown Markets Association. Photographs of the event will be taken throughout the evening by Teri Moy Photography and will also be available for attendees to purchase.
